安養機構老人預防跌倒課程介入之成效研究 An Effectiveness Study of Falls Prevention Program in Residential Care Home Elderly

本研究旨在探討安養機構老人接受不同預防跌倒課程介入的成效。本研究為類實驗設計,立意取樣台北縣三所私立安養機構為研究對象,分成三組各30人,實驗組一接受12週每週一次,每次30分鐘的防跌衛生教育和每週3次,每次30分鐘的防跌運動,實驗組二接受12週,共4次的防跌衛生教育,控制組未接受任何介入。採用結構式問卷、起站走測驗和5次坐椅站立測驗來收集資料,以Paired-t檢定、單因子變異數分析(one way ANOVA)等統計方法進行分析。結果顯示: 實驗組一,在預防跌倒知識、信念、自我效能、行為、平衡力和下肢肌力顯著優於對照組。實驗組二,在預防跌倒知識、信念、自我效能和行為顯著優於對照組。本研究結果可供日後安養機構對老人預防跌倒衛教推行與相關研究之參考。

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of falls prevention program among elder adults living in residential care homes. A quasi-experiment design was applied. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from the elder adults living in three private registered residential care homes in Taipei county. Ninety elder adults participated in this study and were divided into three groups. Experiment group Ι received 12 weeks of falls prevention education and exercise program. Experiment group II accepted 4 times of falls prevention education. Control group accepted no intervention. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, Timed Up and Go Test & Sit-to-Stand Test were statistically analyzed by paired t-test, & one way ANOVA. The results showed Experiment group I was better than Control group in falls prevention knowledge, belief, self-efficacy, behavior, balance , and the muscle power of the lower limbs; and Experiment group II had more significant advantages than Control group in falls prevention knowledge, belief, self-efficacy, and behavior. The results of the study would serve as references to the future and related promotion for the same field of study.
